In April 2013, my dream came true!
Seven years ago, I purchased a consignment shop with the dream of converting it into a store featuring Primitive and Country Decor. Originally we were in a metal building that looked like a pole barn. Although we fixed up the inside and transformed it into our own gift shop, it still lacked the country charm I desired.
This past April 2013, my dream was realized as we moved into a beautiful 2-story brick home on 5 acres of woods. Each room features wonderful merchandise for your country home. Browse our Great Room and Kitchen and you will be able to envision how our furniture and decor will look in YOUR country home. See the Heirloom Weavers Linens in our Master Bedroom. Experience the fragrances of the candles in our Primitive Room. Upstairs you will see the Women's Room with Stephanie Dawn handbags and beautiful scarves. Last but not least, see the charming Kid's Room with gift ideas for young children.
In our new location you will see furniture as well as decor items. People are coming from all over to see our Lancer Primitive Furniture line and custom Amish dining room furniture.
We continue to feature the name brands that primitive folks love such as Park Design Linens, Raghu Linens, Candleberry, 1803 Candles, Scentsible Scents, Olde Century Paints, Billy Jacobs Pictures, and York Wallpaper Borders. Our shelves, cupboards and wood furniture pieces are completely handcrafted and made locally. We also feature many handcrafted seasonal and year round items.
When you walk into our store you will be greeted with the soft music reminiscent of former days and the warm inviting scent of our Signature Candle. No wonder Buttered Maple Syrup is our #1 selling candle.
Today Homespun Blessings attracts people from all over Ohio. We advertise in the Country Sampler magazine and continue to make new friends all over North America.
Thank you for visiting our online store. If you are in the Springfield area, please drop by and see our new store at 5880 Urbana Rd, Springfield, Ohio. We are located due north of town amidst cornfields and fresh country air.
